Review

Appearance: As always, this was enjoyed in my Spiegelau tulip glass. It pours a brilliant orange yellow. A fluffy white head comes then goes, leaving massive lacing all over the glass.

Smell: Hops and hops, very complex and citrusy – yeast esters are present as is honey.

Taste: Floral and citrus hops – grapefruit and orange zest –  followed up with a toasty sweet ending leaving a tea hop finish. Very multi-layered and complex. The citrus and sweetness builds over the progression of the glass. The taste lingers forever.

Mouthfeel: Full, smooth and creamy.

Drinkability: Big – every sip lead you wanting another and then another.

Notes: Easily one of of favorite IPAs; the brewery is 45 minuted from where I live. I use to travel to Ithaca monthly and get growlers and growlers of this beer; they wouldn’t last the weekend. I really do need to head back there soon.

This is readily available to me; anyone who wants to trade, email me pieratehole@gmail.com
