Brooklyn Brewery’s “Brooklyn Lager” Review (#050)

Brooklyn Brewery
Brooklyn Lager
Brooklyn, New York

From The Brewery:

Style: American Amber Lager
Malts: American Two-Row Malts
Hops: Hallertauer, Mittelfrueh, Vangaurd, and Cascade
ABV: 5.2%
Original Gravity: 13.2
Plato: 1053

Review:

Appearance:A striking golden yellow with a hint of amber ale, poured into a Samuel Smith pint glass, and thick chunky khaki head to top it off.

Smell: Sweet malts and bold hops.

Taste: A smooth mellow malty beer, with a bit more hops than expected due to it being a lager; enjoyable.

Mouthfeel: Lower medium bodied; leaves a coating of flavor on the finish.

Drinkability/Palitability: Huge; this is a drinkable American Amber Lager.

Notes:It is full of flavor, goes great with many types of food; burgers and other American style food; BBQ of all kinds.
Also, the title section shown above; just below the 1st picture. Reminds me of the other triple attack: The song Bad Company, by the band Bad Company, off the album titled Bad Company.
