- 3-4 lbs of chicken wings; cleaned
- 4 bottles of Yuengling Black and Tan beer (for cooking; I would have more on hand for consumption)
- 1 cup Franks Red Hot sauce
- 1 cup butter
- 1/3 cup BBQ sauce
- blue cheese dressing
Add together in a large sauce pan: the chicken and 4 bottles of beer
Bring beer to a boil – don’t confuse carbonation bubbles for boiling.
Boil for approximately 15 minutes; until the chicken is cooked.
While the chicken is cooking, pre-heat the grill, and lay aluminum foil on the grill
Remove chicken pan from stove top.
Spray foil with Pam/oil
Move chicken from pan to grill
Grill chicken until crispy; flipping as needed.
In a large bowl – with a lid will help – combine the hot sauce, melted butter, and the BBQ sauce.
Add chicken wings to sauce and toss. Serve with blue cheese and a pint of Yuengling Black and Tan
